I don't think anyone will have a handle on how the fingers of the Dan Ryan will be affected. All the roads are interconnected, and one accident can have a domino effect on everything.

We're not going to prescribe a single product.

That way, people can get information before they get on the road and decide which route to take. People feel better in a delay if they know what caused that delay and what alternate routes are available.

Given the fact we're a public agency, we don't find it acceptable to have a loss at all. Our violation system now should serve as a deterrent.

I'm not concerned if it will or will not, but when it will happen.
