I don't think anyone thought that the girls would be as good as they are, but we've really gotten better with the girls.

This has been one of the worst years for surf.

We have some younger girls in our lineup right now. They need to learn to be more aggressive at the plate. This has been a problem for us all season. We just can't seem to come up with the key hit or big inning when we need it. I mean that team was ranked in the top 10 or 15 in South Jersey, and we were right there with them.

I thought our girls did a good job tonight. We knew it was going to be a tough, grind-it-out type of game, and it's good to know that we can play that way.

we were tied at halftime, I thought it was going well, but Fayetteville girls are a big team. The game went in the second half. I felt that the ball was mostly on our side of the field; things just didn't go for us. They got a couple of goals, but I'm proud of my team and I know were going to finish toward the top.
