I don't regret a minute of my time in Tampa. Any time you do something special like (winning a Stanley Cup), you always want it to continue. Unfortunately, I didn't get the call.

I've had the chance to be part of two great teams in Dallas and last year in Tampa Bay, and those are experiences I can take with me to Long Island. I look at the Islanders the way I saw our team in Tampa Bay, as a team on the verge of something great.

We've had an up-and-down season, but I love it here. Great area, the guys are great, the coaching is good. ... I'm enjoying it.
