I don't know if more things could have gone wrong at the beginning of the game. But the girls responded well to their mistakes. It's not always about how many mistakes you make. It's about how you respond to them.

I was proud of the way our girls got out there at the beginning of the game. They really came out with a lot of effort and hustle.

They are not ready to be done now. They are as excited as I am. They were pumped up on the way to the game and even louder on the way back.

At the beginning of the year, I think the girls saw the fact that everyone was gone and thought they were supposed to lose. It's taken some work, but now they really believe that they can be a good team. We're all really excited about the rest of the year.
