I don't know if I've seen a whole lot of difference. Some of the restaurants do get an influx in the evening from people who want to share their winnings with downtown.

It's awful. These are friends. Most of them are members of the Downtown Business Association. They're being thrown to the curb.

In Tulsa, restaurants have signs that say, "Sorry, we're open."

We have 17 restaurants that come in and we set up tables; and the restaurants bring deserts and hors d'oeuvres and people go around and sample what they have.

Their client base is more sensitive to price increases than clients of fine restaurants.

Having shared a lot of meals with him over the years, I can assure owners of Chinese restaurants across the city that this is a mayor who has and will continue to deeply love Chinese food.
