I don't want to be polite. I don't think campaigning is polite. That's a disingenuous effort.

I think the media has been in denial just like the party regulars have been in denial. They just don't understand that the government that we have today is not what the people want as a government.

I'll get in the face of anyone I think is wrong.

People want a grounded government. They want a government that's going to be responsible to them.

I just think my children and your children would be much better off and much more successful getting married and raising a family, and I don't want them brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option - it isn't.

I come from a democratic world. My world is moderate Democrats, Reagan-type Democrats if you want, the blues or whatever you call them, the Blue Dogs. That's been my world, historically.
