I didn't think some of the comedy was current enough to be funny today,

My mother was funnier than anybody I ever worked for. My father was as funny as this coat. Not a laugh a minute, my father.

Compared to what I'm used to, it was a circus out there today,

It's kind of like a crazy comedy. And funny from the standpoint that there are so many different characters, like the nosy neighbors, they just come in and take over. And some of their lines are just so funny.

Obviously we are all sad today about Chris. Chris was really excited to be doing a comedy. He was such a great character actor ... and he gave an incredible performance that's going to make a lot of people laugh for years to come.
