I didn't really think I'd be wrestling him (Lucero) in the finals. We are pretty good friends. I was worried he knew too many of my moves and what I would do.

He has been great. He has adapted to the collegiate style of wrestling. He listens, learns and does pretty much what he is told.

It's pretty tough. I was actually looking forward to tonight. We actually drew a pretty big crowd, but there was no one there to wrestle.

I've played with a lot of these guys for a while, and we're pretty close friends. They know that I'm trying to help the team. And if we keep playing as a team, I think we will have a shot at the playoffs.

Pretty much all we do on the ride is talk wrestling. We'll call each other and check our weights when we aren't together.

It would have been pretty bad. If I didn't have (wrestling), I'd be hopeless.
