I didn't really like it up there (at Winchendon). I didn't like the dorm situation I was in. It was too cold up there. We couldn't have cell phones and stuff like that, no TVs.

That's who I battle every day for a starting spot. Whoever comes to play in practice, that's who's starting.

He's doing good. He's up to par with his subjects. He tells me he likes it. The only thing is that they're in an area way out from the city (of Charlotte). But that's better for him, he can concentrate.

He felt lonely and out of place. In the summer I saw the mood that he was in, he wasn't too happy with it.

It is one of the beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to be kind to another, without helping himself.

Airplanes are interesting toys, but of no military value.
