I did a lot of work over the winter and I fixed a few things. I'm hitting the ball a lot farther and a lot straighter.

We're friends, and we're both relaxed. He's a good player and a good competitor.

I was happy. To be honest, I thought I was only 1-up coming to the last hole, not 2-up, so I figured I had to make at worst a par and at the absolute worst a bogey and I was fortunate enough to do that.

I struck the ball a lot better today, I knew where every shot was going. He and I play a lot in the summer and we're really good friends. It's always really good playing him ... he's an awesome player and this is our biggest match of the year.

And what would that accomplish? Why don't they just admit to the fact that they didn't do the work they should have and try again next year.

Lots of time I feel like I don't belong to this place.
