I decided it was in the city's best interest that the marble, which is not a good sidewalk surface, should come up.

All these expenses have to be covered by someone.

It's not an easy fix and I still don't think it's an appropriate sidewalk material. If it was, you'd see it everywhere.

The slipping is one thing. There are all kinds of details we're not dealing with.

I do know that my experience thus far at Haggard has validated my choice to go into teaching. I consider myself to be blessed to be working with such great students and staff.
