I could have coached better.

You're going to be coached to be a pro. You're going to be pushed to where you may not even know you have this level. That's a big deal with me. You're not always going to like it, but you're going to be treated honestly and you're going to be treated fairly.

I don't know that I've ever coached anyone with the guts and determination that Nick Leaders has. He wasn't just out there for every game, he was out there for every practice, too.

All my coaches have been great. My dad [Peter] has had a big impact. He coached me for 2 years. He taught me things. Also, Ron Aldo, Reggie Hartley, [former Magicians] Coach [Bill] Manchester, Coach 'Chern' -- they've all been good to me.

I'm going to be the next head coach at Notre Dame.

No one comes into our house and pushes us around.
