I coached Sean Sullivan in high school, and I knew it was his first year at quarterback. Our game plan was to take away his option run.

A move to a different town or school gives us new places to explore, new people to meet; a lost pet means we have to organize a careful search; baby-sitting requires looking out for dangers a young child can't foresee; a car crash or fire demands that we get help immediately.

Because we were a three-year high school for so long, I would like to see us pursue this.

I think we've done just about everything that can be done on a school vacation.

He has voted for very punitive juvenile justice legislation. He has voted for a constitutional amendment (banning) flag desecration. He is the architect of efforts to give federal funding to religiously controlled institutions -- he doesn't seem to have much regard for separation of church and state.

I hope we don't have a need for those this year, ... But in the Clark County School District you deal with whatever comes your way.
