Usually, we'll look over at each other and crack a smile, but that's about it.

They called and said this is a dire situation. We were not prepared, but there is no way we could let something like this go. When something like this happens, we'll do what we can to help the horses, to try and save them.

Although homelessness can happen to anyone, it just wasn't expected.
