I am totally committed to this museum surviving. This should be a showcase for Nassau County. ... Veterans and volunteers worked hard on these planes. This is the history of Long Island, we have to make this succeed.

This is a good way for the students to learn about veterans and how they fought to preserve our country. We try to get the veterans and the students to meet face-to-face at the program.

It is a very embarrassing moment.

At 68, I am among the youngest Holocaust survivors, and I realize that time is running out for firsthand accounts. I consider it an obligation to record my Holocaust experiences; an obligation to Jews everywhere, to historical accuracy and to those who perished. Each recollection I record categorically refutes the writings of Holocaust deniers such as David Irving.

We are in a position right now of already having to rethink our budget estimate for 2006.
