I am thankful to the Japanese people for each day of my life I will now spend in freedom.

Most importantly, I am thankful to Prime Minister Koizumi, ... As I said openly during my court-martial, Prime Minister Koizumi will always remain in the heart and prayers of me and my family.

Do not cry for anyone who walks out of your life. Be thankful for the people who sticks to your side no matter what happen.

A Salute to Freedom

Today is the first day of the last chapter of my life, ... It is here on Sado island that I will hopefully live my remaining days with my wife and children.

I give thanks to The Most High every single day for the life I've been given, with all its difficulties and blessings.
