I am not directly opposed to the fact that they are recruiting high schools, but the means they go about it to get students to sign up for the military,

It's not that I want to break down the public schools, ... I want to improve them for every child, but my children needed to be educated right now.

When I was coaching in the schools years ago, I remember working about an eight-week period for the season. Now for many coaches it is practice every day, with preseason and postseason activities.

Based on a thorough analysis of the five-year academic results at all 2,850 schools appearing in the Institute's Report Card on Ontario's Elementary Schools, we rated the schools on three categories of academic performance. The awards will be presented to the top school team in each category. Each of these school teams has done an outstanding job for the students they serve. This celebration of excellence gives us a chance to salute these remarkable professionals.

In the old days, schools were a collection of classrooms. Today, classrooms are assembly areas; they have community functions. We're making these spaces with a higher volume of space, with different kinds of furniture, so adults can use them.

Schools that are to cater for the whole population must offer courses that are as rich and varied as are the needs and abilities of the children who enter them.
