I am not 100 percent against chemicals. Spot treating is OK and probably the quickest solution. But it is a quick fix and not a permanent fix.

One year from now, in December of '06, unless there's a funding solution for more dedicated funds for transit statewide, we will literally run out of money. That's the situation we're in.

I don't see a win-win coming from this, but maybe we can create a fair solution that would be an acceptable compromise.

In addition to being a very cost-effective solution, it can handle very extreme external conditions such as dirt, dust, water, or other liquid or solid contamination. The cylinder and valves used in this system are designed to withstand these elements. The control card is the only part of the system that must be in an enclosure, but it doesn't necessarily need to be located at the cylinder; it can be several feet away and still function as well.
