I am honored to have the support of so many Coloradans across our state.

I am proud of my record as Colorado's State Treasurer. I have protected the taxpayer's money and grown the value of the state's investments in a very challenging economy.

Every day, I am blessed by the goodness in our country and the kindness and the generosity of the American people. We share a deep love for this place and a gratitude for the contributions we each make.

Regardless of who I am, racism against anyone, anywhere should be appalling to everyone, everywhere.

It's an honor to be chosen to serve as Mayor Hancock's deputy mayor. This position comes with great responsibility, but should the need arise, I know I am up to the challenge.

Education needs to be our state's top priority.
