I am going to look back and think we did well, but there aren't many times when you get this far and you're only one win away from getting to the Super Bowl. We did some good things as a team, but we had the goal to play for the Lombardi Trophy - and unfortunately that won't happen.

We think [Fox] is a great coach. He prepares you extremely well, and he knows how to win. Everyone in this locker room trusts him.

Taylor is that kind of player. He can give them a very nice little package in that offense, something that's going to be very tough to stop.

Early on, it's natural that you take it for granted (you'll win a Super Bowl). You're like, 'Oh, this is my first year, my second year, my third, fourth.' Then you start getting around eight and nine and you start looking at rosters and there are not too many people that have nine or 10 after their name in (years of) experience.

Names are irrelevant. All we want to be is the Carolina defensive line.

He's the one consistent thing back there through all the coaches. From '97 on up, he's been the one constant thing that's been back there. When you got a piece like that, you don't replace that. You replace the stuff around him until you find the right combination, and that's what they've done.
