I am far more encouraged as a career service professional now than in 2000 by the number of employers that have expressed the intent to hire more graduates.

I think you have to work at it. If you offer professional service, you'll maintain your clients. If you approach it in a very heavy-handed manner, life on the block could be very short.

In some ways, I think people who have been in the career service have an advantage.
