I'm sure they're licking their chops.

We keep our chops up and inspire each other. That is the best way to keep it up, by playing with people.

They had too many classical piano players. I didn't have their chops. I couldn't keep up with them. But they also had a brass scholarship for trombone and they didn't have any trombone players. So I knew I could get that one!

I try to dissect it, I try to cut it up, I try to analyze; I don't know. I busted my [butt] this summer, but I'm not getting the results I thought I'd get. Not at all.
