I accomplished everything I was going for. I mainly wanted to set the wins record and win counties and regions for the fourth time. This year was definitely one of my best.

I just wanted to overcome this tourney. But we're a young team, and we are trying to rebuild to where we can compete every year the title.

It's good just to have your name recognized for something like this. My major goal is still to win states, and hopefully have a good showing at senior nationals.

I'm looking forward to going there. A lot of people say it really helps you out for the Academy. I've been going back and forth with (Navy wrestling coach Bruce) Burnett; so I'm turning in papers.

It feels good to tie the record. After working hard for the last four years, it's a great accomplishment.

Do you see me walking out with my head down? I'm proud of my kids. They've done tremendous work.
