The House members have taken such an unreasonable and impractical approach that they have painted themselves into a corner.

I would urge the members of this House to see through these amendments and recognize them for what they are, nothing more than an attempt by the opponents of campaign finance reform to kill this legislation.

It's really quite astonishing how little Floridians are getting from their 25 House members. We have a dearth of real leaders in the House from Florida. It's surprising how little clout these members have.
