Hybrid deployment will be more important to companies. Whatever can get them on a system quickly.

I think we will need to see much more of that down the road.

The other thing to keep in mind is, it's not just about uptime. It's also about performance and response time. Some of these solutions are slower to refresh. All the vendors need to focus not only on uptime but also on performance.

Because business users haven't had to deal with service-level agreements in their jobs, they might not even know what they are. Then, if there's an outage, they'll be unhappy.

Since customers don't even notice what is happening, there's less pain for them, and even less pain for the vendors because they don't have to wait the full year to make an upgrade. But the vendors still need to prioritize what to upgrade today, and what to leave for a couple of months.

They think they will get a four-star hotel and great accommodations, and it turns out to be a rat hole.
