How much does he lack himself who must have many things?

Eyes blinded by the fog of things
cannot see truth.
Ears deafened by the din of things
cannot hear truth.
Brains bewildered by the whirl of things
cannot think truth.
Hearts deadened by the weight of things
cannot feel truth.
Throats choked by the dust of things
cannot speak truth.

Don't take too much, don't take more than you need. Liberate yourself from over-consumerism. Buy what you need, use what you buy. Don't buy just for the sake of acquiring. I have found that the less I have, the more I appreciate what I do have. It keeps what matters most in focus. Don't lose yourself, your time, your energy and your life in "stuff". Try to not waste. We all share this world, this home together.

Dialectical materialism is not of course an eternal and immutable philosophy. To think otherwise is to contradict the spirit of the dialectic. Further development of scientific thought will undoubtedly create a more profound doctrine into which dialectical materialism will enter merely as structural material.
