Hopefully, with this new contract, that will change things. You can't have certain guys out there just out there to do nothing.

I was more concentrating on making sure that I got my steps down, that my routes were looking all right. I wasn't worried about getting a ball. I just wanted to get back in the swing of things and get all the anxiety out.

[PLAY OF THE DAY: For a guy who missed 27 days of training camp, TE Bubba Franks didn't look rusty at all. To me it was more than a walk-through. I had to do a little more conditioning after practice to show the coaches I was in shape, which was no problem for me. I kind of took this as a mini-practice because everyone else was walking through (plays) and I'm the only guy running routes. It was fun. It was exciting to be back.
