Holiness appeared to me to be of a sweet, pleasant, charming, serene, calm nature; which brought an inexpressible purity, brightness, peacefulness and ravishment to the soul.

Newspapers are the Bibles of worldlings.
How diligently they read them!
Here they find their law and profits,
their judges and chronicles,
their epistles and revelations.

Fear cannot stay in the same house as Jesus Christ.

Those in the West who have adopted Christ as their own should remember that he was an Oriental. Love and sympathy for Jesus should be expanded into love and sympathy for all Orientals, and for all the world.

Jesus tends to his people individually. He personally sees to our needs. We all receive Jesus' touch. We experience his care.

Who is the Saviour? The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
