His career just took off. He's a natural. He was born in the saddle. In the future, I think he is going to be one of the best riders in the country.

He was at the right place at the right time. That kid has so much talent. He rides every race to win. I'm so glad he got this mount [aboard Deputy Glitters]. Even though it's not my horse, I'm still pulling for him.

I was stuck without a rider. Jose was not getting any mounts. I just happened to see him.

He's not a go-along, get-along type of person. Especially at this stage in his career, he would not be persuaded by (politics) if he genuinely believes they have a mandate to close bases.
