[He's making] a memorial service, honoring what happened. That is how it feels. ... It's all these feelings — it's numbness, it's anger, it's fear, it's pain, it's so many things. And you go through it, as Oliver demands that I do.

And as an actor, you can go to those places of rage and aggression and feel those feelings, and have so much fun doing it. I think that's also part of what the armed forces harnesses. Every day, I woke up excited to go to work, even with an hour's sleep sometimes.

Who can I trust? You have to invest in somebody and chances are you're probably going to invest in somebody who's going to deceive you. I've been conned a couple of times, but now I'm a little more savvy.

I'm excited to be a part of this important project. Will and John are genuine heroes and I think their wives, Allison and Donna, are heroes, too. I feel privileged to be part of a project that will remember how we all came together on that day.

You have a right to your opinion about the work that you're doing. An artist is as equally important as the director. If you believe that, you can work in any circumstances.

We were lounging around in this beautiful house in LA, and I'm coming from NY, so sometimes when we weren't working I would just sit on those folding chairs.
