He's just a load in there. We did a good job of putting pressure on the ball in the first half and keeping their guards from being able to get the ball in to him clean, but in the second half they did a better job of finding him.

We were coming in at 10-0, but people really weren't sure about us. East is the champion that you have to go through in our conference to get to (PIAA District 1) and the states. They're well coached, and they've had great athletes over the last five or six years. Last year, we came here and lost in overtime. The girls came in determined to show we could play with them.

We told him that you have to take the ball strong. Not only will you not get blocked, but you'll also draw fouls.

I thought they turned up the pressure defensively in the second half, and we were too passive with the ball. But that's what you get when you are as young as we are.

I tell them this isn't about me, it's about you. This is your time. I keep telling them not to worry about that stuff, that if we go out and try to keep getting better every game, we'll get 600 plus some.

We're a pretty physical team. We preach, 'You bang bodies, you go after people in a legitimate way, get on the floor for loose balls.' We expected that from (the Patriots), so it wasn't really a major surprise.
