He's had a lot of success as a young wrestler and coming in to the high school situation you don't know how a freshman is going to react to it.

We had some real good matches, but unfortunately, I think we lost some of those close ones. It was kind of a hit-and-miss day. There were some good things and some disappointing losses. I guess that's what the postseason is about.

He's usually a pretty relaxed wrestler and is able to go out and enjoy the competition. He made a mistake. We'll learn from it. He's got plenty of years in front of him. He's had a great season.

The guys knew what we were up against and knew we had to get bonus points.

Ellington never graduated from high school, so when you speak about his success as a musician, his success as a businessman, his success as an organizer, the city was his tutor.

We'd all really like to be on a varsity cycling team, but even with that type of success, the school hasn't been interested.
