It's a breath of different air because creative input didn't come from members of Vinyl. The Rondo Brothers came in and just mutated a bunch of our songs. They affected it with dub, tempo, pulled instruments in and out of the mix, sliced and diced, reassembled, and in some cases, giving the song an entirely different feel.

We've been touring to Colorado since '98 and have made so many friends that it feels like a second home. It's a combination of the beautiful outdoors and people who love live music.

Categories are a drag. It's groove music. We don't just jam, the songs have parts. We don't just go off into oblivion. There is a beginning, middle and end with room for fooling around in the middle.

Jimi's fan base is one thing only it's about his genius as guitarist, musician and performer. All the work needed to solidify the fan base was accomplished in 1970 when he was alive, creating, and creative. Nothing magical about Janie Hendrix adds to that legacy.
