He's a hero. What people don't understand is that when they go out in these storms, they also endanger the lives of others.

For many years I was self-appointed inspector of snow-storms and rain-storms and did my duty faithfully.

A lot of volunteers are just going from home to home picking people off roofs.

As soon as they start predicting a storm, people call and it seems that these storms are coming one after the other.

We want to make sure those people who were affected by these catastrophic storms get the aid they need, ... but that we make some sacrifices elsewhere so we don't pass this enormous bill on to our children.

They seem to be all in good condition. Isn't it just amazing?
