He was very outgoing. He got along with everybody and was there for the education, the kids and the taxpayers.

This reminds me of our building projects. We always take the lowest bidder, and it never works out in the end.

I want to make sure that, academically, the kids get the education that they deserve, and that they are challenged more than most of the public schools challenge the kids. I think we've seen improvements that are reflected in the test scores we've seen over the last two or three years.

We shouldn't have to continue to fight to provide our kids a well-rounded education.

It's education through discipleship. We want our kids to be a light for Jesus.

Education is more intense than what it use to be. Kids are a lot smarter than they used to be, too, and a lot of that is because of technology. Every year we have to step up our program.
