I don't think he's got anything to be ashamed about. He did what he could do and he just didn't catch the breaks that he needed to. That's the way the game goes. He had one five-bagger (five strikes in a row) in the morning session and then a turkey (three strikes in a row) in the first game of the afternoon session, but after that, he'd run two in a row and then leave a stone eight or nine pin and he'd come back shaking his head.
