He was always looking and trying to improve things all the time. He wanted things better for other people.

It's one thing to just go there, but it's another thing to talk to other people about what they're trying in their schools. You don't get that through online research or watching a DVD.

Those were the days when dads didn't get involved and our dad was involved.

He would cry for days. It really affected him.

He never said no to anybody because there was always a way to work it out. You have no idea how many people got a job because of dad. There wasn't anybody that he didn't know. He treated everybody the same.

I want to get across to people that I'm not retiring for a long time, but as I slow down, I want these people to carry on. It's not just me anymore. We're all Donna.
