He was always looking after us. He kept the records, the mailings, everything. When he got on to a project, he would see it through.

I do think we, the president, all of us need to do a better job, do more, ... why we have made this commitment, what is being done now, what we do expect in the process and, yes, why it's going to take more time.

He was always a joke-teller. You name a kind of joke and he told it. He had one for every occasion. Sometimes two or three for every occasion. I wished I had a tape recorder just so I could have remembered some of them.

I don't remember ever not knowing him.

That's our goal, and we have set in motion a process that will get us there.

I think we even surprised ourselves by winning by so much. It was a great weekend for us and it seemed we had lifetime bests from almost everyone.
