He had a passion for sports, mostly basketball, but he was willing to coach anything and everything they asked him to. But more importantly, he had a passion for teaching and coaching kids.

They say that nobody is perfect. Then they tell you practice makes perfect. I wish they'd make up their minds.

She is probably the best athlete in our conference. Between her athleticism and passion for basketball, it really makes my job easier as a coach. She's a great kid and extremely unselfish player. We had to forcer her to take the ball and go to the basket. If I had her for all four years, she would have hit her 1,000th last year. Growing up on a farm gives you great work ethic; it can really give you a balanced upbringing.

She's just a complete basketball player. She can do so many things.

They said playing basketball would kill me. Well, not playing basketball was killing me.

Integration started with the students that came in that had nothing to do with basketball, nothing to do with sports. The second year, then the basketball part came in. That's the thing that kind of kicked the whole thing off.
