He got better as he went along. He was very good with his hands.

We just wanted him to get a bit of a feel today for what it was like to have bodies around you again and get tackled and bumped, and we were able to achieve that so we're confident he'll be right for next week.

We were also mindful of the fact he had a late finish to the season so we just think a couple of games will be enough to get him up and going.

He probably could have played but we were ultra-cautious and gave him another week.
