He did a really great job. The area I was most worried about was leadership, because Kyle did that the last three years, but he did a great job there.

He's just a phenomenal athlete. We're just thankful for the time we had him.

Last year when Kyle was trying to win his second straight title, it pushed Evan, too. It made him work harder. I can only hope to have more kids as talented as he is. He's just a great kid.

I knew I was going to make my shot. I was trying to take a leadership role and keep the team poised, and it worked and we won the game.

It hasn't sunk in yet. It's weird. We have big leadership responsibilities, the entire class. Sabers has been real high on this class and expects everybody to be leaders in every way.

I've been trying to get on guys, motivate guys. That's what leadership is all about -- setting a good example for them. We've made a lot of progress. We're going to be fine if we keep progressing and working hard.
