He could throw the ball, he could run the ball, he could catch the ball and kick it. He was a well-rounded football player.

He ran the way most back were taught to run - low, bent over. He wasn't very elusive, but he was very powerful. He'd get the 4, 5 yards then when people ganged up and hit him, a lot of them would slide off, couldn't get a good wrap on him and he'd get another 4 or 5 yards.

They throw the ball, I hit it. They hit the ball, I catch it.

I just don't know why we can't throw and catch the ball. Am I embarrassed by it? Not really. I'd like for us to be sharper.

He can run. He can catch the ball. He can do a lot of things that you anticipate a good back should be able to do. The thing he brings to the table, too, is he's an outstanding special-teams player.

We're still going to throw the ball. Being able to run is going to make it a lot easier for us to throw.
