Hats off to Dave. He burned us twice on the same play at the end of the game. It was evenly matched most of the game, but the turning point probably came in the third quarter.

Dave really cares about the things I care about.

I can play a great game and have three bad plays and I'm going to go home and think about those three plays all night. Out of 70 plays, I'm going to think about three plays. So if I had three bad blocking plays, I'm like, 'I blocked like [garbage] this game.'

Hats off to him. I think one of the hardest things to do in the game is to keep a hitting streak. I don't think as long as I'm alive we'll ever see anybody get close to 56, but if anybody is going to do it, Jimmy's a great guy.

We couldn't find anyone, and the team knows Dave from the times he's skated with us. You hope in this situation that Dave doesn't have to play, and the plan is to have Jeff play the entire weekend.

If there's anyone who's like an arrow, who's just determined to do what he really wants to do, it's Dave. You can feel that this is a really well-thought-out aesthetic sensibility with a lot of depth. That's a good model for all of us.
