Golf is on a decline nationwide. The same people are going out and playing three or four times a week. No one new is taking over and the courses are really suffering.

When I grew up, swimming pools were a big thing, but people now can afford to put up a $300 above-ground pool at their house. There is just not as big a market for pools anymore.

If I shot that good on a golf course, I'd keep playing it, too.

The players are devastated but that is golf - they have to pick themselves up and prepare for Friday.

Everybody knows this is a tough golf course.

We have seen growth every year since our initial kick-off in 2003, ... Our goal is to see every golf club in Canada host an event and raise $1000 through our pledge program. This would translate into an annual contribution well over 1.6 million dollars, something that female golfers could be very proud of.
