God, the Merciful, has Himself bestowed His Mercy. He has totally removed the poisonous pollution of egotism.

Subduing egotism, the rigid doors are opened.

The Pure Lord removes the filth of egotism, and we are honored in the True Court.

Burnt by egotism, one forgets the Lord from his mind

When egotism and duality are eradicated, one intuitively merges in peace.

I have searched in vain, and I am so confused; in this darkness, I cannot find the path. In egotism, they cry out in pain. Says Nanak, how will they be saved?
