Global equity markets are in the midst of a pause after a very long upward march.

I would characterize March as a relatively good performance in the equity markets.

It's a boost for the market and it gives people impetus to get back into some of the names they may have wanted to buy but have not done so during the past few weeks.

Another day, another bid - which is always helpful.

It seems more and more the temporary pause in spending in March was just a pause.
