GWS is a place where students can find a niche, and find community in such a large university. Students really get the opportunity to know and work closely with their professors.

I think they have seen student need or interest for the major, and the university, via the 2010 initiative, continually expresses the desire to support interdisciplinary studies. Endorsing the GWS major clearly supports this venture on every level of the academy. Supporting the continuing development of a GWS program is strategically smart for any university that wants to stay on the cutting-edge with other institutions.

So far we have about 20 students that have expressed interest in the GWS major. We also have between 50-60 minors and some will be switching to the major.

The First Amendment permits a public university to charge its students an activity fee used to fund a program to facilitate extracurricular student speech if the program is viewpoint neutral,

The question is, what's student services doing to identify ubiquitous, secure network storage for students? Is that something the University wants to do?

I have an audiologist friend at Wichita State University who actually pulls off earphones of students he sees and, in the interest of science, asks if he can measure the output of the signal going into their heads. He found that often students were listening at 110 to 120 decibels.
