Fuel, winds, weather … maybe his physical state, how he's feeling. There are a lot of things to consider. There's a lot to consider that probably are intangibles we wouldn't understand unless we were in the plane.

That was really a big deal for us, because it let our mission control folks feel really connected to the flight.

It was great. The weather was beautiful. We were on just beautiful, well-manicured diamonds every day. We played and practiced right where the Atlanta Braves had their spring training. It was quite an experience for everybody.

Take long walks in stormy weather or through deep snows in the fields andwoods, if you would keep your spirits up. Deal with brute nature. Be coldand hungry and weary.

There have been some down days (during which patrols were not conducted) because of weather and other reasons, but we are still patrolling the no-fly zones, particularly in the south, aggressively.

Obviously, it's frustrating when you get weather like this. And the (weather) forecast is not good for the next two days, so I think it will be a drawn match.
