From what I understand, it's a targeted district for the Democrats, ... And it should be. With a good, well-funded candidate, there's a lot of potential there.

Never once have Democrats benefited from attempts at reasonableness and compromise and accommodation. To the contrary, Bush and his team seem to view political compromise as weakness, and they punish it rather than reward or reciprocate it.

We are on course to field viable Democrats in seats across the state. Our goal is to challenge Republicans in every district and we believe we are on course to do it.

Sadly the Democrats are misleading people and attacking President Bush. As a matter of principle, we feel the American people have a right to the truth, which is that President Bush is working hard to rescue our economy, protect Social Security and Medicare and eliminate the national debt.

Democrats are for quality health care, economic development and good public education.

A move to a different town or school gives us new places to explore, new people to meet; a lost pet means we have to organize a careful search; baby-sitting requires looking out for dangers a young child can't foresee; a car crash or fire demands that we get help immediately.
