For two years, we worked on getting this outside. Last spring, when we thought everything was lost for another season, we decided on the Biggs building. It seems like a long time. Last fall, we started renovations here.

I told the girls before the game that starting off strong could be a key. I thought Mexico had a little advantage having won in this sectional last year and having all of their starters back.

We were a little flat early on. I thought we got our legs under us in the second half, and were able to build the lead as the game went on.

I thought the girls played well tonight. We didn't handle the pressure as well as I would have liked, but they played well.

I thought the first half defense was very good. I wish we could have scored some points there to get a lead. We missed our first 10 shots to start the game, we had good shots that we have to be able to make. We didn't make them and kept them in the game.

Nobody ever dreamed we would grow into that $2 cap.
